Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026.
Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and Vincent Colombo, trading as MeasureWorth, in Illinois, United States ("MeasureWorth", "we"). By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not create one.
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
What the service does
MeasureWorth connects to your Etsy shop with your permission, scores your listings, suggests changes, applies the changes you choose, and then measures whether those changes coincided with more sales by comparing the listings you changed against your own listings that you did not.
What a measurement result is, precisely. It compares paid orders before and after a change against an untreated group of your own listings. It is directional evidence, not proof. It does not currently account for refunds, so a refunded order still counts as a sale; it cannot separate your change from an Etsy algorithm shift that happened the same week; and it needs enough sales to say anything at all. We will tell you when a result is too thin to lean on. Treat every verdict as an informed indication and not as a guarantee of future revenue.
Your Etsy shop
You must own or be authorized to manage the Etsy shop you connect. We ask Etsy for permission to read your listings, shop and transactions, and to edit your listings.
We change a live listing only when you tell us to. Suggestions sit until you apply them. When you do apply one, it is a real edit to your live shop, and undoing it is your responsibility. We keep a record of the previous title, tags and description — but be clear about what that does and does not give you today: there is no revert, and the record is not yet visible anywhere in the app. To put an old version back right now, edit the listing on Etsy. Email us and we will send you what we hold for your listings. We are building both the history view and a revert.
You remain responsible for everything in your shop, including copy we drafted and you published: that it is accurate, that it is yours to publish, and that it complies with Etsy's policies. You can revoke our access from Etsy at any time, which stops us reading or writing anything immediately.
MeasureWorth is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Etsy, Inc. We are bound by Etsy's API Terms of Use, and if Etsy changes or withdraws its API, parts of this service may change or stop working.
Your content and ours
Your listings, your copy and your sales data are yours. You give us permission to use them only to run the service for you — that is the whole licence, and it ends when your account does.
Rewrites we generate for your listings are yours to use, keep, edit or discard, including after you stop being a customer.
We do not sell your data, and we do not resell listing data. We do not pool your shop's figures into a product we sell to anyone else.
The software, the scoring rules and the site itself remain ours.
Acceptable use
Do not connect a shop you are not entitled to manage, attempt to reach another customer's data, work around rate limits or usage caps, resell access to the service, or use it to publish content that infringes someone else's rights or breaks Etsy's rules. We may suspend an account doing any of these.
Beta, price, and availability
MeasureWorth is in beta and is currently free. There is no payment method on file and nothing to cancel. If we introduce a price we will tell you before it applies to you, and you will be free to leave instead.
Beta means what it says: features change, some are unfinished, and we do not promise a particular level of uptime.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that using MeasureWorth will increase your sales, your ranking, or your revenue.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MeasureWorth is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, in which case they apply to you only as far as your law permits.
Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time by revoking our access from Etsy, and you can have your account and data deleted by emailing support@measureworth.com — see the Privacy Policy for what that removes and how long it takes.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or wind the service down entirely, and we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the breach makes that impossible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and both sides consent to those courts. If you are a consumer somewhere whose law grants you the right to sue locally, this does not take that right away.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and its date when these terms change, and email you before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use MeasureWorth after that means you accept the new version.
